WildHome is a collaboration between artists Julia Orquera Bianco and Amy J. Tuttle. The intention of WildHome is to facilitate experiences that cross culture, age, and life paths, discovering participants’ common ground: this Earth, and our shared human experience on it. Through workshops and community events WildHome amplifies rich multicultural storytelling, art-making, song, and written word.
Amy Tuttle, MA Arts in Transformation, serves as the Executive Director for WordPlay Cincy. She’s a member of NOAH (National Organization of Arts in Health), a Board Trustee and Faculty for the Global Arts in Medicine Institute, Movement & Healing Facilitator with PONES, and Teaching Artist with the Cincinnati Arts Association’s “Arts in Healing Program.” In her artistic practice, she images the arts to support individuals and communities in personal growth, community-building, and cultural transformation.
Julia Orquera Bianco was born in Argentina. In 2018 she earned an MFA degree from Roski School of Art and Design. Through her interdisciplinary practice, Bianco interrogates Modern Western Culture as an immigrant and a guest on the Land. Identity and belonging become entangled with the environment and the community. She uses her family legacy of labor, craft, and storytelling to build knowledge and understanding of Place, experiencing while remembering.
